IED detection and destruction are primary concerns of field operations
troops and those defending the homeland. The Seeker™ Series Robots are
designed to help operators seek and defeat IEDs.
We currently offer two models. Both are designed for detect and defeat
missions. Each provides flexibility and the ability to place a charge near
the IED in order to destroy it.
Seeker™ Series Robots are also ideal for law enforcement. They can be sent
on ‘sneak and peek’ missions to check out suspicious objects as well as
places. When you don’t know what is down the alley or around the corner,
our robots can be your eyes in real time.
New R-500 Seeker™ Series Robot: longer range, better optics, and much more.
Defeating the IED threat is made easier when you have the R-500 Seeker™ Series Robot as a part of your recon team.
Longer range reduces risk. Both the camera and the truck are operable to +/- 1,000 feet, a significant improvement in IED robot performance. And, you benefit from
decreased maneuvering to view a suspect target. Less need to maneuver prolongs battery life.
Quality optics. The R-500 has two cameras: a pan and tilt target camera and a fixed-view camera for driving the robot. Graphics are black and white for optimum resolution. The fixed-view camera allows you to feel as if you’re in the driver’s seat! Drive to the object in question and use the pan and tilt camera to take a better look. If you want,
detach a disposable trailer with charge or sensor. Cruise back to a safe distance
and destroy the target, or in the case of a sensor, collect the intel.
Improved user viewing. You can use the Heads Up Display (HUD) for hands-free viewing or the LCD monitor for collaboration viewing. The 6” LCD monitor screen allows for a clean, clear view. An optional helmet-mounting viewing device is also available.
Multiple use. The R-500 Seeker™ is designed to be used over and over.
Heavy-duty shocks not only last longer in the field, but they also allow you
to tow a heavier charge or sensor in the disposable trailer. A heavy-duty
Pelican case allows for easy transport of vehicle accessories.
