Robot for household video-surveillance. It is developed from the WIFIBOT mobile platform and uses WiFi system in order to inform by e-mail, PDA or mobile phone about incidences that could happen in the place where the robot is working: glass breakage, gas leak, intrusion, fire, etc.
Besides, the robot incorporates a bidirectional audio system (microphone and loudspeaker) for supervision of ill people, kids, etc.

OFRO moves autonomously on its environment. The robot reaches a maximum speed of 7,2 km/h; it can patrol up to 12 hours, even with wind and bad weather conditions. An impact-proof framework protects its high-quality technology form snow, rain and temperature changes ranging from -20°C to 60°C. Its chassis, mounted on crawlers, ensures its function in uneven surfaces. Besides, thanks to this, turning on its own axis is not a problem for OFRO .
Advanced high technology: automatic sensor head turns up to 360°, including thermo camera; two ultrasonic distance sensors; GSM/GPRS/ UMTS and WLAN module; as well as DGPS receiver, with correcting data receiver.
